The journey of sacred places water

Many tirthas • many journeys • one sacred memory • one Shivdham

॥ Shivkshetra – the holy feeling of Lord Shiva ॥

The holy water is also being taken from the Pilgrimage sites visited by the saints.

The revered saint is bringing sacred water with deep devotion from the holy pilgrimage sites he is visiting for the temple. So far, sacred waters associated with Uttarkashi, Haridwar, Rishikesh, Badrinath, the Mansarovar/Kailash pilgrimage, the River Ganga, and Manimahesh have become part of the sacred vision and spiritual mission of Shri Panch Kailash Mandir.

In addition, a portion of sacred water collected from numerous pilgrimage sites has been received from Fakkad Baba. However, a complete and verified list of all these pilgrimage sites is not currently available.

Religious Tradition

In the Sanatan Shaiva tradition, there is a deeply rooted spiritual belief in revering Lord Shiva as “Sarvatirthamaya” (the embodiment of all sacred pilgrimage sites) and regarding places associated with Lord Shiva as imbued with the sanctity of holy pilgrimage sites. In Indian worship traditions, water is profoundly associated with purity, sacred offerings, and Abhishek (the ritual bathing of the deity).

The expression “the sacred waters of all known and unknown pilgrimage sites across Bharatvarsha (India)” should be understood not as a literal inventory of collected waters, but as a heartfelt spiritual expression reflecting the sacred gathering of saints. Precise scriptural references, including the authentic text, chapter, and verse numbers, will be published only after thorough verification.

Gathering of Saints

Fakkad Baba — The Great Confluence of Waters

Possessing only a single garment, no wealth, and no attachment to a mobile phone—yet, in his bag, he carried sacred water collected from numerous pilgrimages. Upon learning of the plan to build a temple, he gladly offered a portion of it.

The journeys were distinct. The travelers were different. The pilgrimage sites were many. Yet, that portion of water ultimately became linked to a divine resolve—a Shiva-Sankalpa.

Sacred Water Records

Sacred Water Records

Each source has a permanent, sacred water record ID—containing details such as the source, date, journey, collector/provider, original container/seal, photos/videos, description, and entry status. Laboratory custody details are kept private.

These sacred waters will be reverently preserved and documented. The religious procedures governing their future use in worship, Abhishek (ritual bathing of the deity), or consecration ceremonies will be determined under the guidance of a qualified Pratishtha Acharya (consecration priest) and other knowledgeable religious scholars.
